Founded back in 2009 by long time PRS designer Joe Knaggs, Knaggs Guitars experienced team of world class luthiers craft guitars of the very highest standard.
With guys like Steve Stevens and Doug Rappaport on their roster, Knaggs build guitars for some of the finest players around. Their latest signature artist is blues/rock connoisseur Eric Steckel, hailed by many as a rising star in the guitar world; Steckel has been pleasing crowds since he was just 11 years old. After a period playing with blues legend John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers he branched off on his own and released several critically acclaimed albums. The new Eric Steckel signature Kenai is a Knaggs like no other, with an awesome 3 pickup design and aged black finish it is really something special. Limited to 11 worldwide this not one you are going to want to miss.
Utilising the classic and time tested Mahogany body with a Maple top this Kenai T/S is incredibly rich and resonant. Finished in a black gloss relic this Knaggs pays homage to one of the most ionic single cut guitar designs, it is aged beautifully and is full of tonnes of vintage mojo right out of the box.
A Mahogany neck paired up with a rich bound Ebony fingerboard provides a secure and comfortable playing experience, it is extremely comfortable thanks to the 12" radius and 24.75" scale length. This vintage inspired design really nails that broken in feel. Whether you are playing super quick leads or heavy chugging riffs, this guitar can do it all.
Reminiscent of the classic 3 pickup single cut this Knaggs honours one of the most iconic designs of all time. Loaded with a trio of Seymour Duncan Candy Humbuckers which are spot-on recreations of the Alnico III humbuckers found with the 1960 Les Paul "Candy", which was the reference point for all of Steckel's signature guitar designs, they really nail that vintage humbucker tone and respond beautifully to your every touch.
Worn gold hardware and aged Kluson Waffle tuners are the cherry on top for this guitar, with high quality hardware all round you can expect flawless tuning and an incredible playing experience. This run is incredibly limited with only 11 examples coming out of the Knaggs workshop, make sure not to miss out.
