Brandon Ellis is most notably known for his role in The Black Dahlia Murder, in which he captivated audiences everywhere with his crushing riffs and brutal guitar tone. Working with Jackson Guitars, he's been able to hone his craft using the ideal guitars to flawlessly execute his playing.
This signature Kelly brings together his notorious metal prowess and eye for detail together to form a guitar built for optimum high-performance efficiency. The Nyatoh bodied combines with a through-body Maple neck which is reinforced with graphite and a scarf joint for enhanced sustain and supreme stability.
A 12"-16" compound radius enables for high-speed, low action playing capabilities so you can shred up and down the 27 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets with precision. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series locking nut and Gotoh GE1996T double locking tremolo system means you'll stay in tune now matter what you throw at it!
The gloss finish is adorned with the eye-catching Gold Crackle finish which matches the gold hardware superbly, and the reverse headstock and Black Sharkfin fretboard inlays complete the look.
With regards to the pickups, in the Bridge position there is a Seymour Duncan Dyad Paralell Axis and in the Neck is a STK-1. This high-output pairing will retain clarity even in the highest of gain distortion but also features a unique hybrid coil design. A push/pull volume control with series/parallel function moves the wiring of the Bridge pickup from series to parallel - the series setting provides a more traditional humbucker sound and the parallel offers a more top-end frequency with a tad less output, while keeping the noise-cancelling features
Other features include a 25.1" scale length, a single volume control (push-pull, series/parallel), Ivory neck and headstock binding, 41.3mm nud width, Dunlop Dual-Locking strap buttons.
