Ibanez AF115 - Aged Whiskey Burst

The Ibanez AF115 sits at the top of the Artstar hollowbody range, offering a premium, traditional jazz box feel with the kind of refinement and craftsmanship that Ibanez has become known for. This is a fully-hollow instrument, no centre block, giving you the warm, open resonance and acoustic bloom that classic archtops are loved for.

The body pairs a spruce top with flamed maple back and sides, a combination that delivers crisp articulation, rich midrange and a beautifully airy response. Finished in Aged Whiskey Burst, the AF115 has a timeless, vintage-inspired aesthetic that suits everything from straight-ahead jazz to blues, soul and smooth fusion.

The 3piece Nyatoh/Maple Artstar neck is set-in for maximum sustain and warmth, topped with a bound Macassar ebony fretboard featuring acrylic & abalone block inlays. Medium frets receive the Artstar fret edge treatment, giving them a smooth, broken-in feel right out of the case.

Electronics come courtesy of the legendary Super 58 humbuckers, long celebrated for their warm, articulate jazz voicing and dynamic sensitivity. These Alnico-powered pickups excel at clean tones but also handle edge-of-breakup and bluesy grit with ease.

A rosewood bridge, VT14 tailpiece with AFC wood cover, bone nut, and gold hardware complete the build, giving the AF115 a classy, traditional look and feel. It ships with D'Addario ECG24 flatwounds (.011-.050), perfectly matching the guitar's smooth, mellow tonal character.
