Handpicked at a recent PRS event, this guitar was made just for this event and isn't part of the standard line-up. Non standard custom colour
This guitar is as per a 2016 Custom 24 just in a one-off custom colour offering.
So we have the superb 85/15 pickups. PRS himself told me that if they could travel back to 1985, these would be the pickups he would've made then! 30 years of studying the finest PAF pickups from the late 50's has given Paul the opportunity to crack the code of those classic pickups.
Mahogany body, figured flame maple top etc.
Highly versatile tones on tap, courtesy of those amazing 85/15 pickups which are controlled by a Volume, Tone and 5 way switch. If you play one of these through a nice crunchy valve amp you can go from spanky clean to full humbucker crunch without even touching the amp, The Volume control is that good.
