Founded back in 2009 by long time PRS designer Joe Knaggs, Knaggs Guitars experienced team of world class luthiers craft guitars of the very highest standard.
The Chesapeake Severn Tier 2 is an innovative and flawlessly designed solid body that delivers massively on tone and playability. With a crisp Alder body with a Maple top body, this beauty is finished in the super cool Charcoal. The T2 has a punchy tone, is perfectly balanced and super resonant. The reverse headstock is a really nice touch which just adds to the aesthetic appeal.
The Maple neck features an Ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays and boasts an old school 6 in a line headstock. Its smooth, beautifully finished and poised, with great access right up the neck this guitar is at home playing a wide range of styles. With Gotoh locking tuners and a Knaggs Chesapeake tremolo bridge, this guitar has great tuning stability and offers a playing experience unlike any other.
With a trio of Seymour Duncan pickups, a TB-4 JB Trembucker and a pair of ATX-K single coils, you get a smooth, articulate tone. The ATX-Ks are based on the Duncan Antiquity series and voiced specifically for Knaggs, they give you a little more midrange focus than a standard single coil. With unbelievable clarity and harmonic content this is a great pickup selection.
