Everyone's favourite slap-happy bassist has teamed up with Fender to recreate his famous '61 Jazz Bass which he used to record the albums Stadium Arcadium and The Getaway. The Red Hot Chili Pepper's have been in the mainstream rock scene for over two decades and Flea has remained one of the most influential and popular bass guitarists throughout those years.
His funk-rock fusion has brought bass back to the forefront so it's only fitting that Fender celebrate that with this new signature!
Loaded with vintage-style, USA made Pure Vintage '64 Jazz Bass single coils which of course brings that signature punchy Fender tone and clarity. Of course if you want to play like Flea you want it to be as easy playing as possible and Fender have done their job on that front.
Super comfortable and slick to play, it features a 20 fret C shape maple neck with a super smooth Road Worn nitro lacquer finish. It also has a 7.25" radius rosewood fingerboard and a 1.5" wide nut.
