This Custom Shop Masterbuilt G6134-59 Penguin offers a striking new take on one of Gretsch's most iconic designs. Expertly aged by Master Builder Gonzalo Madrigal, it authentically simulates heavy wear. This accurately represents a guitar that has been well played over many decades. Matched with the iconic Black Paisley finish, it looks absolutely incredible, and pairs with the aged Gold hardware perfectly.

Mahogany back and sides is paired with an arched Maple top that delivers the unmistakable Gretsch blend of resonance, punch and airy acoustic response, while three TV Jones PowerTron Plus pickups provide the twang, growl and harmonic richness that define the Penguin's legendary voice. These are the hottest FilterTron pickup they make and it is ideally suited to anything from warm blues, good old fashioned rock n roll or huge hard rock riffs.

It also features treble bleed wiring which retains high frequencies when you roll back on the volume. This helps cut through the mix and adds a tasty bit of spice when soloing!

The C-shaped Mahogany neck features a smooth 12-inch-radius Ebony fingerboard with 22 vintage frets and Mother of Pearl thumbnail inlays. This is accompanied by black side dots and gold sparkle binding for an added touch of prestige. Grover Imperial tuners and Synchro-Sonic bridge with Bigsby provide solid tuning stability and precise intonation.

The Bigsby B3G tailpiece adds classic Gretsch shimmer and feels right at home. Again, all matched in Gold to complete the luxurious aesthetic.
