Its design pays homage to the 1970s Marauder, infused with subtle elements of the Music City Junior. Throughout its history, the Marauder has been favoured by renowned musicians like Adam Jones and Paul Stanley. This special edition celebrates Gibson’s fifty years of craftsmanship in Nashville, honouring the brand’s legacy while offering exceptional quality and value for today’s guitarists.
The Les Paul Music City begins with a solid Poplar body, which is super lightweight and extremely resonant in tone. Its thin body allows you to play live with ease, you won’t have to worry about any back pain.
The Maple neck features a comfortable SlimTaper profile, which allows for quick and easy access right across the guitar. This profile is ergonomically designed, so it really does feel great in your hand. The Music City les Paul also features a Striped Ebony fingerboard with acrylic dot inlays, 22 medium frets, a 12” radius, 24.75” scale length and a 43.05mm nut width. Thanks to the flat 12” radius, first position chords and high bends are effortless and super easy.
With two Gibson 70s Tribute pickups, this guitar delivers powerful tones that sounds great through gain and super clear when played clean. They are super dynamic and thanks to the intuitive control layout, you can unlock a wide range of tonal options just by adjusting the volume and tone. This guitar features high quality hardware across the board including a Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge & Stop Bar, alongside Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners
