The Les Paul Classic is inspired by the great Les Pauls of the '60s and '70s, and by adding features desired by the modern player they have created a real contemporary classic.
A plain maple top on a mahogany back with a cracking Translucent Cherry finish gives the true Classic look and sound. Resonant and well balanced, this Les Paul is a worthy addition to possibly the most iconic electric guitar line ever.
The solid mahogany neck has a fast and ergonomic slim-taper profile and a Rosewood fingerboard for greater sonic depth. 22 frets make this a really comfortable guitar, the Graph Tech nut is a great touch and operates with precision. The ABR bridge and aluminium stop bar further enhance the vintage look and increases sustain.
Vintage Gibson tones come courtesy of a pair of Burstbucker 61T and 61R. With a really unique sonic character it is versatile, dynamic and offers crystal clear note definition. Delivering true PAF tone and with 4 push/pull control knobs for coil tap, phase switching, and Pure Bypassing, these versatile electronics are a great addition.
It's an elegant powerhouse well deserving of the Les Paul name.
