The Gibson ES335 60s recreates the refined look and feel of early1960s ES335 models, offering a faster neck, updated pickups and periodcorrect styling. Built in Nashville using the original Kalamazoo ES laminate press, it features the classic threeply maplepoplarmaple construction with a solid maple centreblock for clarity, sustain and reduced feedback. Singleply cream binding around the top and back completes the vintage aesthetic.
The mahogany neck is carved to a 60s SlimTaper profile, providing a thinner, faster feel than the 50s version. The bound rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium jumbo frets and small block acrylic inlays, matching the look of early60s originals. Grover Rotomatic tuners with milk bottle buttons ensure smooth, reliable tuning, while the headstock carries a motherofpearl Gibson logo and crown inlay.
Calibrated TType humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets deliver the articulate, punchy and slightly brighter voice associated with vintage TTop pickups. Handwired 500k volume and tone controls and a threeway toggle provide the tonal versatility the ES335 is known for. An ABR1 TuneOMatic bridge and aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece offer excellent sustain and precise setup control.
Finished in gloss nitrocellulose lacquer in Vintage Burst, Sixties Cherry or Dark Walnut, the ES335 60s ships with a Gibson hardshell case. This is the model for players who prefer the slimmer neck profile, small block inlays and 60sstyle appointments of the classic early60s ES335.
