The timeless legacy of Gibson's "King of the Flat-Tops," the SJ-200, lives on with the SJ-200 Western Classic. Since its debut in 1937, Gibson's SJ-200 has consistently set an unparalleled standard in acoustic guitars. This tradition is faithfully continued with the SJ-200 Western Classic from the Gibson Acoustic Custom Shop.
This Gibson SJ-200 Western Classic features some stunning Indian Rosewood back and sides and fuses it with the tonal quality of AAA Sitka Spruce. With an organic and beautifully balanced tone, Sitka Spruce offers plenty of mids and great harmonic overtones. Finished in a super sweet Vintage Sunburst with a bound torty pickguard. This SJ-200 looks the real deal.
The Rounded Flame Maple neck feels really authentic whilst the Ebony fingerboard is smooth and feels great underhand. It features a 25.5" scale length, 20 frets, Mother of Pearl block inlays and a 1.725 nut width.
The bone nut and saddle and TUSQ bridge pins make for the best tonal connections to the strings whilst the Waverly tuners make for the perfect match.
