We are incredibly excited to present the brand new Gibson Custom Historic Collection. The original Korina Flying V's are one of the rarest and most desirable guitars ever put into production, when it was introduced back in 1958 it's radical design left people puzzled and confused, it wasn't until many years later that people began to appreciate and see the beauty in the Flying V shape. With only 81 originals said to be produced they are seen as gold dust and a must have for all collectors out there.
Featuring the classic Korina body design this Flying V looks truly stunning and has an incredible resonance and sustain, it is beautifully decorated with a white pickguard which creates an awesome sense of contrast.
The solid Korina neck is incredibly comfortable and easy to navigate, this neck profile has been painstakingly designed to deliver the most authentic experience possible, the neck is adorned with a dark Indian Rosewood fingerboard which boasts a 12" radius, 22 vintage frets and a 24.75" scale length.
Vintage Gibson tone comes courtesy of a pair of Custombucker PAF pickups, delivering that ever so iconic tone with tonnes of note definition and character, this set absolutely nails the PAF tone and are some of the closet copies on the market.
