From our latest batch of custom spec Gibsons, we have this stunningly vintage Murphy Lab Heavy Aged 1954 Les Paul Standard in Maduro Brown. Unlike a regular '54 Les Paul though, this one comes with a pair of Custombucker Alnico III Unpotted humbuckers. Hailed as some of the most authentic PAF replicas on the market thanks to Gibson's extensive research, these pickups will get you closer to a classic Les Paul tone than anything else.

The guitar features the all-time tonal wood pairing of a Mahogany body and Maple top that has been Gibson's go to for the past 70 years and you can hear why - it produces a sonically rich and extremely resonant sound that is unmistakeable. Paired with a Mahogany neck, the 1950's Chunky D-Shape neck profile lets you really dig in with your playing. The Rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 Jescar narrow-tall frets and aged celluloid trapezoid inlays with a special touch of tortoiseshell side dots on its cream neck binding for a sweet retro aesthetic.

When it comes to hardware, this Les Paul doesn't disappoint. Loaded with Kluson Deluxe tuners and a historic lightweight wrap-around nickel bridge, you get some rock solid tuning stability and amazing vibration transfer to the body. The '54 Les Paul Standard keeps things simple and to-the-point and the result is a guitar that can surely take anything you throw at it without breaking a sweat!
