Widely known for his work with MEGADETH his killer lead playing, awesome vocals and exceptional song writing has inspired multiple generations. Gibson is truly honoured to be working with Dave Mustaine and are excited to present the Gibson Custom Dave Mustaine Flying V EXP models, the next addition to the Dave Mustaine Collection.

The Gibson Flying V has always been one pretty radical guitar, initially launched back in '58 as part of Gibson's attempt to embrace futuristic design, it's been a players favourite ever since. 

The Gibson Custom Dave Mustaine Flying V EXP is the ultimate way to experience what makes the Flying V so special. With a solid Mahogany body and Figured Maple top finished in Red Amber Burst it both looks and sounds the part, it's fair to say it's a real eye catcher. It is brilliantly weighted and super resonant, perfect for cutting through with those heavy Thrash Metal riffs!

With a 25.5 Mahogany neck this Flying V feels comfortable and familiar, it boasts an Ebony fingerboard with a compound radius, 24 medium jumbo frets and mother of pearl teeth inlays. Its super quick and easy to navigate, perfect for nailing those solos!

Classic Dave Mustaine tones come courtesy of his signature Seymour Duncan Thrash Factor pickup set. This set is voiced to recreate the unique tone of Dave's favourite JB set used to record some of his most iconic albums. Thanks to a pair of volumes controls alongside a master tone control you can really sculpt your sound to taste.

Finished off with a  Tune-O-Matic bridge and chevron tailpiece alongside Grover mini rotomatic tuners you can expect killer stability. Its a real powerhouse, this Gibson Flying V comes complete with a custom Gibson hardcase for great protection at home and on the road.
