This out of this world Limited Edition Flying V has been designed and built to reflect Adam’s preference for heavier guitars! It begins with a non-weight relieved Mahogany body which is extremely resonant and lively in tone. The Reverse Antique Silverburst Nitrocellulose lacquer has been painstakingly aged by the Murphy Lab team and really does look the real deal! The Murphy Lab team are true masters of their craft, the attention to detail is truly astonishing! 

The 3-piece Maple neck boasts a 24.75" scale length, 22 frets, an Ebony fingerboard with Mother of Pearl block inlays and a comfortable medium C neck profile; it feels perfectly balanced and poised, just as a Flying V should. One of the defining features of the Adam Jones Flying V is the inclusion of Gibson’s lesser known Futura style headstock, this abstract design is certain eye-catching and will definitely turn a few heads!

Such an incredible guitar needs a pickup pairing capable of the wide range of tones a player like Adam Jones requires. Loaded with a reverse mounted Custombucker at the neck and a Seymour Duncan custom wound DDJ at the bridge, you have everything you need to replicate that crushing Tool tone!
