With a thermally aged Sitka Spruce top on Flame Maple back and sides, it has a deep, resonant and real powerful sound. It's immediately recognisable and serves well both fingerpicking and strumming big chords.
With a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard, the J-185 features mother of pearl parallelogram inlays, a 12" radius, 24.75" scale length, and a "V" neck profile. It comes with bone saddle and nut as well as Gotoh Keystone tuners. It's comfortable, poised and ready to play. With such a stunning natural sound it really holds it own at the lower end, it offers great projection without compromising on note clarity.
