A remarkable collaboration between the legendary blues-rock virtuoso Joe Bonamassa and Fender, we have the incredible Tone Master 59 Twin JB Edition. Inspired by one of Joe's late '50s Fender 'high-powered' tweed Twin amps which he has toured with for many years, this collab utilises the Tone Master modelling process to bring the DNA of Joe's favourite valve amp to the masses.
The Tone Master Twin JB Edition uses massive digital processing power to achieve a single remarkable sonic feat: faithfully modelling the circuitry of an original Fender 5F8-A circuit to produce period accurate tube amp tones alongside modern features suitable for virtually any playing scenario.
Using a high-performance 85-watt digital power amp to achieve the headroom and dynamic range of a real vintage Twin tube amp, paired with the pronounced sparkle and clarity of two 12" Celestion JB85 Neodymium Signature speakers (specifically designed for this amp) and a solid pine cabinet. The result is tubeless Twin tone, volume and dynamics virtually indistinguishable from the all-valve original. And with all these features, the Tone Master '59 Twin JB is only half the weight of an all-valve Twin!
Front panel features give guitarists a playing experience identical to the tube version, with the addition of Fender's world-standard convolution reverb effect. It produces those legendary bold clean tones as well as its famous roaring drive sound when pushed. On the rear, we have the superb addition of a "Vintage-Tight" switch, which allows for tighter low-end response.
Additional rear-panel features deliver modern convenience and flexibility - the original Twin is generally considered too loud for home use or small venues, so the incredible use of selectable output power enables access to those iconic tones at any volume. The 6-way attenuator switch enables power adjustment from the full 85w all the way down to a neighbour-friendly 0.5w setting. Also featuring an XLR line output with level control, 3-way impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations, effects loop, ground lift switch and USB port for firmware upgrades.
Finished in a stunning vintage style tweed tolex with Bassman grille cloth. This amp has the looks of a classic vintage Fender but with all the perks of modern performance. 2-button footswitch included.
