Fender Pugilist V2 - Distortion

Fender were the pioneers of electric guitar, delivering the tones that helped shape modern music through their tube amps and solid body electrics. Their Pedals offer and incredible tonal experience deserving of the Fender name.

The new Pugilist offers dual independent distortion engines within the same chassis, designed to produces a plethora of huge tones. Each distortion can be operated separately using the designated footswitches and tweaked to your tastes using a separate Level, Tone and Gain for each one. Engine A provides a treble-focused drive tone ideal for lead lines while Engine B provides deep, thick high-gain suitable for heaviest riffs you can throw at it.

You can blend or stack the two distortions in whichever order you desire using the unique Path switch, leading to harmonically rich saturation. The two Series Modes run one circuit straight into the other, letting you stack drive tones like layers on a multi-channel amp. Just hit the footswitches to push into full cascading distortion. If you prefer Parallel Mode, it runs both engines side by side so you can blend and balance them using the level controls - giving you deep tone-shaping and the ideal mix of clear, chunky distortion.

Also featuring Mid Cut and Bass Boost switches to provide even further tone shaping capabilities and switchable buffered and true bypass modes with relay based auto-bypass when no power is present.

A multiswitch on the rear panel enables footswitches for momentary (press-and-hold) and latching (tap) activation.
