The Player II Jazz Bass in Oxblood is a refined take on Fender's iconic design, built for articulate tone and smooth playability. Its contoured alder body offers balanced resonance and classic low-end punch, finished in a deep Oxblood gloss for understated elegance.
The roasted maple neck features a Modern C profile with a satin urethane finish, paired with a slab rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and a 9.5" radius. Narrow-tall frets and a 34" scale length deliver precise note articulation and familiar feel.
Powered by Seymour Duncan Apollo Jazz Bass pickups, this model delivers warm lows, crisp highs, and focused mids with minimal noise. The linear humbucking design ensures clarity and punch across all registers. A 4-saddle bridge with single-groove steel saddles and open-gear tuners provide solid intonation and tuning stability.
