The compact auditorium body shape enhances tonal focus while remaining comfortable to play, and the convenient cutaway provides easy access to higher frets for expanded playing possibilities.
The short 30" scale length and slim "C"-shaped Jazz Bass-style neck offer a smooth, familiar playing experience, especially for electric bass players transitioning to acoustic. The neck is made of durable nato and features a comfortable 1.5" nut width, allowing for fast and precise fretting. Block inlays provide a stylish visual touch, while the classic 4-in-line headstock reinforces the connection to Fender's iconic electric bass design.
Equipped with a Fishman Presys preamp system, the Kingman Bass is ready for stage and studio use. Players can shape their tone with onboard EQ controls, minimise feedback with the phase switch, and tune quickly and accurately with the integrated tuner. This system ensures consistent, high-quality sound whether performing live or recording.
Additional features include open-gear vintage-style tuning machines for reliable tuning stability and smooth adjustment, as well as a GraphTech NuBone nut and saddle, which enhance sustain and tonal clarity. A walnut fingerboard and bridge contribute to both the aesthetic and sonic quality of the instrument, offering a smooth playing surface and rich, articulate tone.
The Kingman Acoustic Bass also comes with a deluxe gig bag for convenient transport and protection.
