The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop Tropo Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight 2-piece Alder body is finished in an awesome Super Faded Aged 2-Colour Sunburst nitro lacquer, Heavily aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively
The Rift Swan Maple neck has a smooth finish. With a 7.25"-9.50" compound radius and 21 Medium Vintage frets, the Tropo Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '57 Style Soft "V" neck shape and a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
The pickup loadout on this guitar is really something special. Loaded with a trio of handwound Fender Troposphere pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Developed in the Custom Shop by masterbuilder Paul Waller the Troposphere pickups are underwound, sweet sounding pickups that allow for slightly more headroom with overdriven sounds, uniquely designed for this limited run, you are going to love these.
Thanks to the Vintage Strat Hardtail bridge this Custom Shop provides a unique Strat playing experience and with vintage Fender tuners you can expect great stability.
