The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop Double Esquire they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision.

This guitar has some serious mojo! With a classic traditional Pine body, finished in an Incredible Aged Pink Paisley over Aged Black, the Esquire has a unique relicd nitro finish, this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar but with all the tone and playability of a modern one. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes. Fender famously used Pine bodies on the earliest batches of prototype and production models in the early 1950s.

The neck is crafted from rift sawn Maple and features a 11/56 off centre V profile, it's real comfortable and with a 7.25"-9.5" compound radius and 21 narrow tall frets it's smooth and at home playing slick runs and crisp chords right up the neck.

Loaded with a duo of hand wound 50/51 Blackguard bridge single coils, you get a broad variation of tones. From clean sparkle to a raunchy growl, this guitar really is a players dream.
