The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop Tomatillo Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The lightweight Alder body is finished in a lush Faded Aged Chocolate 2TSB relic finish. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The AA Birdseye Maple neck has a smooth finish and an relicd Maple fingerboard. With a 7.25"-9.5" compound radius and 21 narrow tall frets, the Tomatillo Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 11/56 Off Center "V" neck profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing, it measures .915" at the 1st fret and .975" at the 12th fret with a 1.650" Nut Width. There is no finish on the back of the heavy relic neck and this just adds to the incredible playing experience that this guitar offers.
