The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '62 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a super cool Faded Aged Sea Foam Green nitro lacquer, Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Riftsawn Maple neck has a smooth finish allowing for quick and easy movements, it also has a super cool Rift Sawn Maple fingerboard, it combines all of our favourite elements of both '50s and '60s Fender Strats. With a 7.25-9.5" radius and 21 Narrow Tall frets, the '62 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '60 Style Oval "C" neck shape which measures .780" at the 1st fret and .975" at the 12th. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound Fender Hand Wound Master Design Bone Tone Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. It also includes a Strat 1/2 blender controls allowing for a rich and smooth sound, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
