The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things, and with the Custom Shop '69 Stratocaster they really push the boundaries of Leo Fenders vision.
With a traditional Alder body this guitar is super resonant and has a really bold tone. The Journeyman Olympic White finish gives the appearance of a well-loved and gigged guitar, it's totally authentic and really cool. The level of attention to detail that has been applied to this guitar is simply out of this world!
The neck is crafted from Quartersawn Maple and features a 69 U profile, it's real comfortable and with a 9.5" radius and 21 Medium Jumbo frets it's smooth and at home playing slick runs and crisp chords right up the neck. The AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of luxury and perfectly complements the cool vibe.
The defining feature of this guitar is the choice of a set of Hand Wound 65 single coil pickups. With a massive tone, these pickups are great for players who like everything turbo charged, with huge sonic flexibility and fat, high output tone, these little beauties are up there with the very finest pickups on the market.
