Fender Custom Shop '61 Stratocaster HSS Journeyman Daphne Blue
Handwound Fender '59 Strat Single-Coils & EVH Frankenstein Humbucker Pickups - Compound Radius - POMO Volume Control
The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '61 Stratocaster HSS Journeyman is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '61 Stratocaster HSS Journeyman is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
A lightweight Alder body is finished in a majestic Daphne Blue finish that's been carefully relic'd to emulate a road worn guitar.
The Quarter-Sawn Roasted Maple Satin Lacquer neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade sort for dark Rosewood fingerboard. The '61 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '60 Style Oval "C" neck shape, a 9.5"-12" compound radius, 22 6100 jumbo frets and a 1.650" Nut Width. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced. With the inclusion of relic'd hardware you can expect great stability and intonation whilst gaining that aged vintage look.
Despite looking the part for a vintage collectors piece, this guitar actually has a plethora of modern aspects. From the contoured heal joint, to the compound radius, to the drop-in vintage staggered tuners. Even the POMO Strat HSS volume control ensures that each pickup goes through the correct resistance potentiometer!
With a duo of handwound '59 Strat pickups and an EVH Frankenstein humbucker, it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
Yet another absolute stunner from the guys at the Fender Custom Shop!
