The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '58 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The Roasted Alder body is finished in a lush Aged Chocolate 3TSB in the journeyman finish. The Journeyman is a very lightly aged nitro finish; this gives the look and feel of a vintage guitar that has been lovingly cared for over the years. This finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The 4A Roasted Flame Maple neck and fingerboard has a smooth finish. With a 7.25-9.5" compund radius and 21 narrow tall frets, the '58 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat; it's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The '54 Strat soft V profile is a joy to play and offers a great platform for both rhythm and lead playing.
With a trio of hand wound Fat 50's Strat single coils it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat.
Supplied with a Fender Custom Shop hard case, and an alternate 1-ply white pickguard. This is a real sweet example of Custom Shop quality.
