With the appearance of a vintage guitar this Custom Shop Thinline model benefits from all the playability and reliability of a brand new one. The lightweight Select Ash body is finished in a stunning Aged Blue Flower, period correct; this finish features a truly authentic relic ageing. One of the most unique and eye catching Fender finishes, this guitar is most definitely a show stopper!
The quartersawn AA Flame Maple neck features a Rosewood fingerboard and a 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The 60 Oval C shape profile, 21 frets and lightly tinted back offer a really organic playing experience.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar the Custom Shop Thinline needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Fender tone. With a duo of Fender Wide Range humbuckers, this guitar offers a real alternative Tele tone. Big, precise and with unreal note definition, these pickups are a great choice.
