The JA-90 Telecaster Thinline is loaded full of that authentic mid-2000s tone and vibe. Designed with Jimmy Eat World frontman Jim Adkins this guitar delivers a no nonsense approach to rock ‘n roll.
Based on his TC-90 Telecaster this JA-90 features a semi-hollow Ash body finished beautifully in a gloss natural finish, this really allows you to appreciate the beauty in the Ash’s wood grain. An Indian Laurel fingerboard sits atop a Maple neck which features a Modern “C” neck shape. It also includes a 42mm nut width, 9.5” radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Classic Jimmy Eat Wold tones come courtesy of a Seymour Duncan SP90-3 bridge pickup and a Seymour Duncan SP90-1N neck pickup, this set is beautifully balanced and delivers a warm yet open sounding tone. Finished off with a 6-saddle vintage style Adjusto-Matic bridge and standard cast/sealed tuners.
