The Alder body is typically comfortable, as all Strat's are, and with a Gloss Nitrocellulose 2-Colour Sunburst finish it looks real slick. The Maple neck features a lush Deep V profile, designed for precision and comfort; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work. 21 Vintage Tall frets, a 9.5" radius and 25.5" scale length make this Stratocaster feel familiar and supremely comfortable.
With a trio of wax-potted Vintage 59 single coil pickups, these pups have been designed to be as period correct as possible. With Formvar coated coil wire and cloth covered output wires, fibre bobbins and Alnico V magnets, they sing with that timeless vintage sparkle that is the classic Fender sound. Also benefiting from a Pure Vintage 6-saddle synchronised tremolo, its a real players guitar.
Complete with vintage style Hardcase, the Fender American Original range is the perfect mix of 50s design and modern construction
