The Faith Naked Venus is a testament to the marriage of craftsmanship and tonal excellence. It starts with the captivating Venus body shape, a design that has found a special place in the hearts of countless musicians. This body boasts a 15" lower bout and a slimmer body depth, taking inspiration from classic OM and Auditorium models, striking a harmonious balance between projection and comfort. Notably, the Naked Venus earned the prestigious title of "The UK's Best Acoustic Guitar" at the MIA Music Awards in 2013. This accolade underscores its exceptional qualities and makes it an instrument of undeniable distinction.
The Venus is uniquely versatile - it's large enough to resonate with a deep, rich acoustic quality yet compact enough for musicians to wield with ease on stage. The combination of an Engelman Spruce top and an Indonesian Mahogany body ensures that this guitar boasts a 100% solid tonewood construction, aligning with the high standards maintained across the Faith series. The Naked Venus, as the name suggests, strips away cosmetics and non-essential adornments, embracing a natural, stripped-down aesthetic. The satin finish liberates the tonewood, allowing for unrestricted resonant movement, resulting in a tonal quality that defies expectations for its price range.
This Faith Guitar is equipped with a Fishman Presys preamp and sonicore pickup system, allowing you to effortlessly amplify your sound with precision. The placement of the output jack, combined with the strap button, and the discreetly fitted battery box at the base of the guitar, enhance convenience. The preamp features a tuner, a contour button for fine-tuning the EQ to your preferences, and a phase button to refine your tonal control during live performances.
Underneath the surface, the Faith Naked Venus employs hand-scraped quarter-sawn spruce bracing, using the Patrick James Eggle X-Brace design. The delicate 2mm Abalone rosette adds a touch of understated elegance, maintaining a focus on simplicity and tonal purity. The neck, constructed from Mahogany, provides a comfortable playing experience. This is further enhanced by the satin finish, allowing for smooth, unhindered movement along the fingerboard. The neck joint follows the Patrick James Eggle Bolt-On design, ensuring structural integrity and tonal clarity.
The fingerboard is made of Indonesian Ebony and features Mother of Pearl 'F' inlays at the 12th fret, a subtle nod to the Faith heritage. Faith Precision Chrome machine heads, NuBone nut and saddle, Indonesian Ebony bridge, and Ebony bridge pins with Abalone dots, all of which contribute to the guitar's exceptional tuning stability and playability.
