The Faith Naked Venus Mahogany is a guitar that embodies both iconic design and exceptional performance. This instrument features the Venus body shape, which has become legendary amongst players for its balanced dimensions, drawing inspiration from classic OM and Auditorium models. The Naked Venus earned recognition as "The UK's Best Acoustic Guitar" at the MIA Music Awards in 2013.
With a 15" lower bout and a slimmer body depth, this guitar delivers a robust acoustic performance while remaining comfortable for stage performers who like to move around. The all-mahogany construction produces a clear, sweet, and woody tone with articulate mid-range notes. Whether you're strumming, fingerpicking, or using vigorous picking techniques, this instrument responds with friendliness and versatility. Its sound is characterised by a lack of overtones and harmonics, making it an excellent choice for recording.
Equipped with a Fishman Presys preamp and Sonicore pickup, this Faith Guitar provides amplified sound with precision. The preamp includes a tuner, a contour button for selecting flat or scooped EQ, and a phase button.
The guitar's construction includes hand-scraped quarter-sawn spruce bracing and a Patrick James Eggle X-Brace design, all accentuated by a 2mm abalone rosette. The neck, made of mahogany, boasts a satin finish and Patrick James Eggle's bolt-on design. The Indonesian ebony fingerboard features mother of pearl inlays, including the 'F' at the 12th fret.
With Faith Precision Chrome machine heads, NuBone nut and saddle, and an Indonesian ebony bridge adorned with ebony pins and abalone dots, this guitar is a harmonious blend of design and performance.
