Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument. With the EC-1000T Honey Burst Satin, you get the great look and feel of the single-cutaway design based on the ESP Eclipse.
A guitar of this quality needs a pickup pairing to match, and this guitar offers something quite special in the form of the first production guitar to feature the new Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbuckers with three voicings. On the neck pickup, Voice 1 offers the coveted vintage P.A.F. tone, Voice 2 is an airy chime, and Voice 3 is a vintage single-coil. For the bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the P.A.F., Voice 2 is the classic hot-rodded humbucker, and Voice 3 is an overwound single coil. The end result is a guitar that can cover huge ground sonically and is great for a wide variety of styles.
This is a traditional full thickness body variant of the usually thinner ESP Eclipse, but it is chambered for weight relief making this a breeze to play when standing. It also offers 24.75" scale length set-thru construction with a mahogany body, 3 piece mahogany Thin U neck, and a Macassar Ebony fingerboard with 22 XJ stainless steel frets, 42mm nut width, and 350mm radius.
The gorgeous flamed maple top of the EC-1000T is accompanied by the usual classy appointments that come with the LTD Deluxe series that set this apart from the crowd, such as full body, neck and headstock binding, LTD locking tuners, and Tonepros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece finished in nickel.
