The Epiphone Casino really needs no introduction, one of the most iconic guitars of the 60s both visually and sonically. The Casino has been Epiphone's best-selling archtop and a rock n' roll standard. Over the years it has been the choice of players including blues legend Howlin' Wolf, Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones, and John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison of The Beatles. Now made back made in the USA for the first time in over 50 years
With a laminated 3-ply Maple/Poplar/Maple body and top, you get great stability and a super bright and resonant tone. Finished in a really striking Royal Tan Nitrocellulose Lacquer which really allows the guitar to breathe. With chrome hardware, this guitar has embraced vintage styling but utilised modern build techniques for a super reliable and robust guitar.
The solid Mahogany neck features an Indian Rosewood fingerboard with parallelogram inlays. The Rounded C profile is smooth and comfortable and thanks to the 12" Radius, 22 Medium Jumbo Frets and a 1.687" Nut Width the Epiphone USA Casino offers a great platform for both lead and rhythm playing.
The Epiphone USA Casino is loaded with a pair of Gibson USA P-90 Pickups, sitting beautifully between single coils and humbuckers, these P90s offer a sweet snap and great response. A favourite of monster tone hounds Keith Richards and Gary Clark Jnr. Rounded off with a Thinline Trapeze Tailpiece/ABR-1 Bridge and Vintage Deluxe tuners. The Casino is one cool cat.
