From legendary concert stages to countless classic recordings, the ’60s Les Paul has shaped the sound of modern music and continues to inspire players today. This Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Les Paul Standard 60s pays tribute to this iconic model at a much more affordable and player friendly price point.
This guitar features the classic Les Paul body design, which is crafted from Mahogany and Maple. This is one of the most legendary tone wood pairings of all time thanks to it resonance and tonal properties. The Mahogany neck has a SlimTaper 60s C which feels really similar to the neck shape you’d find on an original Gibson Les Paul crafted in the early 60s. The Rosewood fingerboard is dark in colour and features a 43mm nut width, 24.75” scale length, 22 frets, and pearloid trapezoid inlays.
The ProBucker 2&3 pickups do a great job at replicating the iconic tones we associate with 1960s Les Pauls. They sound super thick and full while still being dynamic and responsive to your playing. On this guitar you have a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners, and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece.
