From legendary concert stages to countless classic recordings, the ’50s Les Paul has shaped the sound of modern music and continues to inspire players today. This Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s pays tribute to this iconic model at a much more affordable and player friendly price point.
This guitar features the classic Les Paul body design, which is crafted from Mahogany and Maple. This is one of the most legendary tone wood pairings of all time thanks to it resonance and tonal properties. The Mahogany neck has a 1959 Rounded Medium C neck shape, which is inspired by the neck shapes found on vintage Les Paul originally built in the 1950s. It feels great in your hands and is super easy to play. The Rosewood fingerboard is dark in colour and features a 43mm nut width, 24.75” scale length, 22 frets, and pearloid trapezoid inlays.
The ProBucker 1&2 pickups do a great job at replicating the iconic tones we associate with 1950s Les Pauls. They sound super thick and full while still being really dynamic and responsive to your playing. On this guitar you have a set of Epiphone Vintage Deluxe tuners, and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece.
