The Epiphone Les Paul Custom, part of the Inspired by Gibson Collection, is a modern recreation of the iconic Gibson Les Paul Custom. This awesome Epiphone recreation delivers classic Les Paul Custom tones with the iconic visuals to match. This particular SKU was custom spec’d by another Epiphone dealer overseas. A couple of these guitars have made their way into Europe, and we’ve secured them for our customers.
The body of this Les Paul Custom is constructed from solid mahogany, a tonewood known for its warm, resonant sound, providing a solid foundation for rich, sustained tones. It also features a Maple top, which helps to add a touch of brightness to the tone. Silverburst is one of the most popular and highly requested Gibson colours, it’s great to see it appear on a guitar at this price point.
The neck of this Les Paul Custom is crafted from mahogany and features a SlimTaper profile, offering a comfortable and fast-playing experience. The Ebony fingerboard features a 24.75” scale length, 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, and block inlays. The Graph Tech nut ensures tuning stability and precision, while the 43mm nut width provides a familiar feel for Les Paul enthusiasts.
For pickups, the Les Paul Custom is equipped with a pair of Epiphone Probucker Custom humbuckers, which deliver a versatile range of vintage-inspired tones. These pickups are complemented by CTS potentiometers, allowing for precise control over your volume and tone settings. The guitar's hardware includes a LockTone ABR Tune-o-Matic bridge with a StopTail for solid intonation and sustain, and Grover Rotomatic tuning machines for reliable and accurate tuning.
