Epiphone L-00 Standard | Vintage Sunburst

Back in the 1900s, Gibson was leading the way with their pioneering small body acoustic guitar designs. The L-00 was first developed in the early 1930s and has been an industry standard small-bodied acoustic guitar ever since. Our friends at Epiphone are thrilled to present the Inspired by Gibson L-00, an instrument designed to honour the L-00 design at a much more accessible price point. As part of Epiphone’s Inspired by Gibson range, it’s designed with value firmly in mind, delivering classic Gibson-style looks and feel at a far more accessible price. It’s a great way to experience an iconic design without the premium price tag.

This Epiphone L-00 features an all solid wood construction, which is great to see on an instrument at this price point, it really helps the overall tone and voice of the instrument. It features solid mahogany back & sides, alongside a solid spruce top. Together they deliver a balanced tone that’s great for strumming, as well as fingerstyle. The neck is crafted from one piece mahogany and is super comfortable to play. It features Gibson’s rounded “C” neck shape, which is one of their most popular and fan favourite neck profiles. The rosewood fingerboard is rich and super dark in colour. It’s equipped with 19 standard frets, a 24.75” scale length, 43mm nut width, bone nut, and mother-of-pearl dot inlays.

With a Fishman S-Core pickup built into the guitar, this L-00 is ready to hit the road or the studio right away. The S-Core is a really great pickup choice and really captures the natural characteristic of the body design. This L-00 also features a “rectangular” style bridge, and Grover mini rotomatic tuners.

This guitar ships in a premium Epiphone branded gigbag. A battery is not included. To power your pickup, you will need a 9-volt battery.
