The Epiphone Dove Studio in Natural brings a much loved Gibson acoustic design to players who want classic style and a bold, clear voice at an accessible price. As part of the new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection, it takes inspiration from the original Gibson Dove, a sixties square shouldered dreadnought known for its crisp tone and strong midrange presence.
With its larger body and longer scale length, this model offers bright projection and plenty of character, making it a great choice for strummers, singer songwriter players and anyone who wants an acoustic with loads of character and vibe.
The Dove Studio features a square shoulder dreadnought body crafted from layered maple back and sides, and a solid spruce top. It has a bright, clear tone with a really strong mid range, making it a super versatile instrument that’s great for many different style. With the iconic dove pickguard, this acoustic both looks and sounds the part!
The Mahogany neck is joined to the body with a glued-in tapered dovetail joint, and features a rounded c neck profile. This profile is super comfortable and feels great in your hands, ensuring easy playability. It also features a bound rosewood fingerboard equipped with 20 standard frets, a 25.5” scale length, a 43mm nut width, and traditional pearloid split parallelogram inlays
The Dove Studio keeps the classic look of the original with pearl style dove inlays on the bridge, the iconic Dove pickguard artwork and a sixties Kalamazoo style headstock with mother of pearl details. It also comes fitted with Grover Rotomatic tuners, giving you smooth and reliable tuning every time.
A Fishman S Core under saddle pickup and Fishman Presys VT preamp make this guitar ready to perform in any setting. The soundhole volume and tone controls allow fast and subtle adjustments while you play, so it works just as well on stage as it does at home or in the studio.
