The Epiphone 1964 SG Standard Reissue with Maestro Vibrola is a highly detailed recreation of a classic instrument, offering modern reliability with vintage-inspired craftsmanship. Developed in collaboration with Gibson Custom, this model delivers the most accurate reproduction of the original 1964 SG Standard that Epiphone has ever released. As with all guitars purchased online through our website or mobile app, this guitar will receive a full complementary setup upon purchase by our team of in-house technicians. Our team can accommodate any custom requests, so if youre looking for something specific just let us know!

This Epiphone features the classic SG body design crafted from lightweight Mahogany. This body shape is so iconic, and Epiphone have done an awesome job at replicating all the sweeping curves associated with the original Gibson models. Pelham Blue is a colour long associated with SG from this era, it looks super slick and is a great looking colour option.

The is crafted from one piece Mahogany and features a 60s SlimTaper neck shape. This neck is super comfortable and feels great in your hands, it feels just like a vintage SG crafted in the 60s would be. The fingerboard is made from a dark piece of Rosewood, which really allows the mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays to stand out! It also features a 24.75 scale length, 12 radius and a 43mm nut width. As an Inspired By Gibson Custom model, this guitar features a Gibson style headstock, which further increases the vintage appeal.

Gibson Custombucker pickups do a great job at recreating the iconic tones we associate with mid 60s Gibson guitars. Having pickups of this quality on a guitar at this price point is seriously impressive and a real selling point. You also have a high-quality Tune-O-Matic bridge alongside a Maestro Vibrola tailpiece and Epiphone Deluxe Double Ring tuners. High quality hardcase included.

This instrument was originally built as an exclusive model for another dealer overseas. A few of these guitars made their way over to Europe, so we've been able to get our hand on them. As this model was crafted for another dealer, we are unable to 100% guarantee the accuracy of the build specification listed above. What we can guarantee is that this is super cool Epiphone instrument which you wont find many of here in the U.K.
