The Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard is a Limited Edition model created in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop. It offers players and collectors a faithful recreation of one of the most sought-after vintage guitars, built with exceptional attention to detail and quality. This model features a solid mahogany body with a AAA figured maple veneer top, delivering the classic combination of warmth, resonance, and visual appeal that defines the 1959 Les Paul. The construction ensures a well-balanced tone with rich midrange and clarity, ideal for players who demand both performance and authenticity.
The neck is built to original 1959 specifications, featuring a hand-rolled "C" profile and a long neck tenon for improved sustain and stability. Its 12" radius laurel fingerboard provides a smooth, responsive playing surface with 22 medium jumbo frets, allowing for comfortable playability across all styles. Whether used for expressive bends, articulate solos, or precise rhythm work, this neck design ensures comfort and consistency during extended playing sessions. High-quality hardware, including Epiphone Deluxe vintage tuners, a Graph Tech NuBone nut, and a LockTone Tune-O-Matic ABR-1 bridge with stopbar, guarantees tuning stability and accurate intonation, allowing players to perform confidently in any setting.
The Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard comes equipped with Gibson USA BurstBucker 2 and 3 humbuckers, known for their vintage-accurate tone and dynamic range. These pickups capture the essence of classic PAF humbuckers, providing clear, powerful output suited to both clean and overdriven tones. Supporting components such as CTS pots, 50s-style wiring, Mallory capacitors, and Switchcraft electronics ensure reliable performance and precise tonal control. Each guitar includes a vintage-style brown hard case for protection and an exclusive Epiphone Limited Edition medallion toggle switchplate, highlighting its premium status within the Epiphone lineup.
