Introducing Romeo California, the latest version of Romeo. Its notable feature is the inclusion of a centre block, setting it apart from its predecessors. While Romeo guitars typically boast a hollow body with a small block beneath the bridge, Romeo California showcases a centre-block design. With a stunning flame maple top and equipped with two Bare Knuckle Old Guard humbuckers, it delivers a classic 335-style tone. The mahogany back and sides further contribute to its unique sound, imbuing it with a rich, woody resonance unlike any other.
Crafted with precision and attention to detail, the Romeo California boasts vintage versatility in a modern-day design. The maple neck and ebony fingerboard provide exceptional playability, while the 12" fingerboard radius ensures comfortable navigation across the frets. The bone nut measuring 1.72" (44mm) in width and the Jescar FFW47104-P fretwire guarantee optimal string height and a smooth playing experience. With a scale length of 24.75" and body dimensions of 14.75" x 1.75", this guitar offers the perfect balance of comfort and resonance.
This exceptional instrument is finished with a Truetone Gloss finish, accentuating its beauty while protecting it for years to come. The hardware, including the Gotoh GE101A-NI tailpiece and Gotoh GE-104B-NI bridge, and the Göldo MGDBL33N Back Locking Tuners, combine functionality with a timeless aesthetic. The amber bell knobs and Gotoh EP-A1 strap peg add a touch of vintage charm.
To deliver unparalleled sonic versatility, the Romeo California is equipped with Bare Knuckle Old Guard humbuckers. The Göldo EL002 3-way switch and ivory switch tip provide seamless control over your tone, while the capacitors and potentiometers from CTS and the Switchcraft L11 output jack ensure optimal signal transfer and reliability.
The Eastman Romeo California comes complete with Gavitt braided wire for the pickup wiring, D'Addario NYXL .011 - .049 strings, and an action height set by our in-house Peach techs, allowing for effortless playability across the entire neck. It is accompanied by a sturdy hardshell case, ensuring its protection both on the road and in the studio.
