The Diamond Pedals COMP/EQ is the next-generation classic compressor that every musician needs in their arsenal. With the classic yellow box design, this compressor maintains the original circuit architecture while increasing range and functionality. The new EQ section allows for precise tone-sculpting, while the added Attack switch lets you select between two attack settings. The original ultra-snappy Diamond compression is still there, but now you can also enjoy a slower response with a transparent, less squashed, softer compression and longer sustained sound.
This pedal features a naturally smooth optical compression from a custom US-made Opto-Isolator and a +/- 10 dB Mid boost and cut. It also has a +/- 6 dB Tilt EQ section, wide-ranging compression with a bi-colour LED indicator, top-mounted jacks, and soft-touch relay switching. The Burr Brown Integrated circuits add even more quality to this amazing pedal.
Hand-made in Montreal, Canada, the Diamond Pedals COMP/EQ is powered by a regular 9-18V DC PSU (centre -, 2,1 mm, ~22 mA current draw) and is perfect for all your compression needs.
