    D'Addario NYXL1156 is a premium uncoated electric set built for players who need superior strength, exceptional tuning stability and a bold, present midrange that cuts through any mix. NYXL strings use a NY Steel core for outstanding break resistance, Fusion Twist technology for improved tuning stability and a reformulated nickelplated steel wrap wire that enhances midrange frequencies for added presence and crunch.

    This 1156 Medium Top/Extra Heavy Bottom set is designed to maintain a comfortable, familiar playing tension when tuning down a whole step to D. The lighter treble strings allow smooth bending and articulate lead work, while the heavier bass strings provide tight, controlled lowend response for rhythm playing.

    Each set is uncoated, round wound and made in the USA at D'Addario's New York facility. The recyclable VCI bag includes a code that can be registered for Players Circle points.
