    D'Addario EXL156 is a custom nickel wound set designed specifically for the Fender Bass VI, delivering the bright, versatile tone that has made XL Nickel the industry standard since 1974. Made with a high carbon steel core and nickelplated steel wrap wire, these strings offer a clear, punchy response suitable for a wide range of styles, from atmospheric textures to driving lowend lines.

    As with all XL Nickel sets, the wrap wire is drawn to exacting specifications for consistent feel, reliable durability and excellent intonation thanks to D'Addario's proprietary HexCore construction. The 2484 gauge range provides balanced tension across all six strings, optimised for the extended scale and tuning of the Bass VI.

    Each set is uncoated, round wound and made in the USA at D'Addario's New York facility. The recyclable VCI bag includes a code that can be registered for Players Circle points.
