Collings CJ45 T

Collings make great guitars, with over 35 years of experience; they know a thing or two about putting together a superb guitar. The Collings CJ45T is certainly one of their standout models!

When it came to add a "T" designation to one of their slope-shouler designs Collings decided not to tweak the original, instead creating the all-new Collings CJ-45 T which is a fully re-imagined instrument that offers a distinct tonal difference when compared to other models. Strongly vintage-inspired, the body construction has been completely re-engineered to create a truly unique playing experience.

With a crisp Sitka Spruce top and Honduran Mahoganyback and sides, the CJ45T delivers depth and tonal clarity. While the CJ45T shares the same body shape as other CJ models, its top and back Sitka Spruce standard tongue X-bracing is entirely different in layout, profile and crave, resulting in a dry and direct sound with a quick decay.

A Honduran Mahogany neck boasts an Indian Rosewood fingerboard with a CJ-45 profile which has a full C-Shape which is substantial in terms of both feel and in its contributions to tone. It also features a 24 7/8" scale length. 12" Radius, Medium Nickel frets and of course Mother of Pearl long dot inlays. It is supremely comfortable underhand, it's an absolute joy to play, beautifully well balanced and incredibly high quality.
