Named after the scenic highway that cruises past their Texas Hill shop, the 290 is the ultimate rock n roll guitar.

With a Honduran Mahogany solid body single cutaway design finished in an Oxblood aged package, this is a serious guitar with a seriously cool look. Equipped with the optional Mojo Axe wrapover tailpiece for a tonal turbo boost, this guitar offers incredible resonance and a beautifully smooth playing action.

The Honduran Mahogany neck features a Rosewood fingerboard, with a 24.7/8" scale length and a 12" radius, its comfortable and precise. Upgraded with the optional pair of Throbak P-90s (52/54 models), the 290 is a tonal powerhouse, delivering a wide variation of rich and detailed tones, the 290 is a real players guitar.
