The Charvel Pro Mod Plus DK24 takes us back to an age when shred was King and guitars were built for full throttle power, precision and performance.
Inspired by the classic Dinky shape, the DK24 rocks a cool Basswood body finished in Raven Black, it's beautifully balanced and with total access to the upper frets, perfect for shredding.
The Maple neck is subject to a special treatment that delivers the Caramelised quality. This heat and drying technique makes the wood feel and sound much older than it is, well into the phase where the wood opens up nicely. With 24 jumbo stainless steel frets on an Ebony fretboard, a 25.5" scale length, 12"-16" compound radius, and rolled fingerboard edges, it's fast, smooth and great for those sweeping licks and riffs.
Loaded with a duo of monster Seymour Duncan pickups, a Full Shred at the bridge and an Alnico II Pro at the neck, you get nothing but massive tone whatever you play. Warm and fat to biting and crisp, it's a true powerhouse guitar. Paired with a 5-way pickup selector and a series/parallel switch, it offers an array of versatile tones.
The Pro Mod Plus features top-notch hardware too, equipped with Charvel locking tuners and a Wilkinson WVS130-2P tremolo with locking saddles, it really has supreme tuning stability. Luminlay side dots, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut, EVH low-friction volume control, and no-load tone control are all the little details that make this guitar shine.
This is classic '80s spirit in an awesome modern guitar.
