A gorgeous example of the older Dana Bourgeois guitars. This one has been played solidly over the years and shows signs of its life (1999), sonically the result is a guitar that has opened up and sounds both deep and chimy. This one will handle everything and is sure to be your next love!

The Jumbo-Orchestra body consists of solid rosewood back and sides, topped with a solid spruce top. This classic pairing of premium tonewoods offers a bold and punchy low end with plenty of volume, but thanks to the age of the guitar it also has really beautiful mellow tone, so as well as being ideal for big strumming chords and flatpicking, it produces a balanced and comforting tone when it comes to more gentle styles of fingerpicking.

The finish does feature a fair few dings and scrapes, however, these add tonnes of character as it's all part of its playing history, and are purely cosmetic - they don't have any bearing on the structural stability or playability of the guitar, which is all absolutely spot on.

In terms of the playability, it is super comfortable. The neck profile is rounded medium shape and the frets are in excellent condition which makes for an easy playing experience.
