The Atkin D37 is a stunning take on one of the most popular steel string acoustic guitar designs of all time, the dreadnought. Handcrafted in Kent, the Essential D is Alister Atkin's vision of the classic dreadnought design.
With a torrefied Sitka Spruce top, on East Indian Rosewood back and sides, it gives a really full and focused sound with great dynamics and super response. The Mahogany neck features an Ebony fingerboard, perfectly comfortable with either intricate picking or brash strumming; the D37 offers superb projection and a rich full tone. The lacquer checking on this guitar is incredible, authentically vintage.
This guitar is used, due to the factory aged nitro finish it’s hard to determine play wear from the original finish, this is however a great opportunity to pick up a killer acoustic at an awesome price point
